How can I setup a password for my Netgear wireless router?
Q. I need to keep other people from using my internet connection and I want to setup a password, but I don't see an area within my Netgear software to setup a password. What do I do?

A. One thing that one must do is password protect ones router in order to keep people from logging into your network and stealing sensitive data. If you think offenders are logging into your network through a router, than password protect your router. Log into your router. Set up the password there. XP 1) Goto Start/Run 2) Type in "cmd" Vista 1) Click the Start button 2) Type in "command" Once you are in the command prompt: 1)Type in "ipconfig" 2) In your Internet browser type in "http://" followed by your default gateway (found in the command prompt) ***Example: (try clicking the link) 3) Login (search online for login info) Usually admin, password 3) There should be a link on the side somewhere. A. Use the ideal gas law. PV=nRT n is constant, V is constant. You can rearrange the equation to look like, P/T=nR/V=constant So then P1/T1=P2/T2 P2=P1*(T2/T1)

What is the best way to setup internet for multiple offices ?
Q. I would like to setup cable internet access for 12 to 15 offices that are spread out over 3 floors of a 100 year old Victorian style brick home that has been converted into office space. Each office is a separate company, but I would like to offer them free internet. How can I make this happen ? I would like to do it myself ? Also can I limit the usage so that one person can not take up all the bandwidth?

You could be help responsible if someone hacks into your network and steals data from any of the companies. You should consult a lawyer first. If you provide free access you'll want each company to sign a waiver. You'll have to consider the amount of bandwidth you would need. Best thing to do is to contact a broadband service provider.
